Q&A: Learning Guitar Later in Life?

Lesson Discussion
About This Lesson
In this lesson I want to share some perspective on common question I receive: “Am I too old to learn guitar?”
Over many years of running the Song Notes community, I’ve routinely heard from members in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who’ve successfully picked up the guitar and found real joy in it. My aim here is to share that feedback, and let you know that plenty of folks later in life have picked up the guitar and found real joy in it.
I absolutely concede that learning things much later in life has its difficulties, and likewise I simply don’t know what it’s like to be in my 70s. Rather, my hope is the feedback I’ve heard from others may be encouraging to you — should you be looking to start learning the guitar.
