This lesson shows you how to do the hammer-on technique while strumming G and Cadd9 chords on your guitar, as heard in the song “Southside of Heaven” by Ryan Bingham. This is a great exercise to practice in general, as it develops your ability to hammer-on with your index finger, alternate bass notes while strumming, and use rapid down-up strums while all this is going on. Enjoy!
